PLUMERIA COLLECTION
Renowned French botanist Charles Plumier catalogued and named
hundreds of species of flowers but gave his name to only one,
Plumeria. Indigenous to the Caribbean and Latim America, the common
name "Frangipani" was derived from a popular European perfume
the early explorers found tantalyzingly similar in fragrance.
The Plumeria tree propogates well from cuttings and will grow
in a wide variety of soil conditions for over a century. Brought
to Hawaii in the 1860s, it soon became one of the most popular
flowers for making leis, the flower garlands that stand for aloha!
Now cultivated in most tropical regions, the sweet scented waxy
flowers may be found in hundreds of varieties and colors.
Our collection is modeled after the curled petals and natural twist
of the Kimo variety developed in Hawaii. Our entire collection is
100% made in Hawaii, and each piece bears the copyright as well
as a quality stamp. We produce a full line of matching pendants,
earrings, rings, neckpieces and bracelets.
Please allow two to four weeks for delivery. Shipping is via USPS.
Prices are based on today's gold market price and may vary with
market.
